Under Gruha Lakshmi scheme 2023, Rs 2000/- per month will be deposited in the bank account of those women in Karnataka who have Antyodaya, BPL and APL ration cards and the head of the household in the ration card is a woman. This amount will be sent directly to the bank accounts of eligible women through DBT mode every month. To take advantage of this scheme, eligible women will have to apply online or offline.

- Those women who are holders of Antyodaya, BPL and APL ration cards and the woman in the ration card is the head of the family, those women can apply for this scheme.
- Only one woman in the family will get the benefit, the woman who will be the head of the household is getting the benefit.
- Government employee women will not get the benefit of this scheme.
- Women who pay income tax will not get the benefit.
- The wife of the husband who pays income tax or GST will also not be eligible for this scheme.
- The women who are already taking advantage of a similar scheme will also not get the benefit of this scheme.
